Happy New Year! This winter, we're focused on deepening connections with families across the state. We’re hosting both virtual and in-person gatherings, expanding parent-to-parent support spaces, and strengthening partnerships with early intervention providers, specialty providers, schools, and community organizations. Behind the scenes, we’re also building new resources to make it easier for families to find timely, unbiased information—right when they need it most.

We’re excited to share our October edition of the Massachusetts Hands & Voices monthly e-newsletter — your connection to upcoming events, family stories, and new resources for the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

This month, we’re diving into themes of resilience, identity, and connection. You’ll find details about our first Caregiver Circle, new mental health support resources, and a powerful reflection from founding board member Tiffany Snow on the everyday strength that keeps families moving forward.

November invites reflection — and conversation. This month, we’re exploring what it means to overcome bias in the spaces that shape our children’s lives and to listen with open hearts.

Inside this issue, you’ll find stories of growth and resilience — like Gillian & Teddy’s journey — along with guidance for families navigating early communication decisions. We’re also spotlighting financial assistance resources, ways to share your own story, and a full calendar of upcoming community events designed to bring families together across Massachusetts.
